Does Clickbank steal your commissions?  Well, it depends on your point of view…  Clickbank and the Clickbank market place are one of the biggest, if not the biggest affiliate site for digital products online.  Now, to the question, Does Clickbank steal your commissions?   That is a judgement call and again, depends on your point of view.  In order to be paid out by Clickbank, as of right now, you have to have at least 5 transactions, and they have to be of two different payment methods, and PayPal doesn’t count as one of those.  My interpretation of this is that you have to have a Visa card and a Mastercard pay for something, and they have to be from five different cards.  If you don’t meet this minimum threashold, you dont’ get paid.  Now, for the question at hand – does clickbank steal your commissions? – I’ve supposedly made over a few hundred dollars at clickbank, and have yet to receive a commission check from them.  They have slowly dwindled away at my earnings, since I haven’t met the minimum threshold, they take charges out each month, up to $50 per month, as fees for “dormant” accounts…  So, they definately get away with not paying quite a bit in commissions.  Definately a questionable practice and seems like it’s at minimum not right, and possibly should be against the law.  In my opinion, the answer to the question of Does Clickbank steal your commissions is… you make the call…

What does it take to rank a website?  Well, quite a few things actually, and most of those things involve something called incoming links.  There are on page factors of course, and the more competitive the market or niche, the more things you have to have right, but for most local markets, and quite a bit of the long tail (three or more word phrases that people use to search on) off page factors are very effective, if not the most important aspect.  SEOMOZ, one of the most respected SEO websites, when discussing what does it take to rank a site here: http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors four out of the top 5 factors involve external links and factors surrounding those.  My experience in what does it take to rank a website echos these sediments.  In fact, I don’t have access to some of my clients sites right now, I’m ranking them simply on the stregnth of their external linking – very distributed links, varying anchor text, all on different class c blocks, different hosts, etc.  What does it take to rank a website?  In a word, links.

Places to put your link – links are the foundation of almost all internet marketing.  Without links, you can’t be found.  A link in an e-mail, a link on a web page, etc.  Links on web pages are the foundation of SEO.  If you want to get ranked, you simply MUST get places to put your link – the more the better.  Now, that being said, where exactly do you find places to put your link?  Well, forums, social media sites, and forums are often the best places to get links and places to put your link.  You can also get .gov and .edu links this way, which are very valuable links. 

I LOVE blog comment spammers, when I view the comments for this blog, I find awesome place to put your link.  I look for footprints, and then find even more.  For example, if you search for smflogo.gif which is the logo for simple machines forums, which are a popular forum software, you can literally find thousands and thousands of places to put you link.  You can also find by searching for “powered by kick apps,”  another popular forum software.  I just came across the smflogo.gif by observing and looking at the places that other people are putting their links, and one in my blog comments.  Places to put your link are invaluable, and something not to be overlooked or taken lightly.   Link often, link smart, link fast.   Find the best places to put your link, and watch you site sail up the SERP’s (search engine results pages).

My Pay Pal account locked – my pay pal account was locked about 5 days ago, and is still locked.  I’ve not had a complaint, I’ve not done anything wrong, in fact, quite the contrary.  I’ve grown my business like most people in business try to do…  In fact, I did double the business this month that I did last month.  In pay pal’s eyes, I guess this is a crime.  My pay pal account was frozen about a week ago, just under.  pay pal account locked – AGAIN…  and on top of that, I”m being blackmailed for my money.  They are demanding that I upload my social security card, my drivers license, and quite a few things, or I’m out of luck and I’ve lost my money.  I believe this to be blackmail and theft, and believe they should be prosecuted.  STAY AWAY FROM PAY PAL.  DO NOT USE PAY PAL.  They seem to not be subject to the same rules and regulations as other financial institutions.  FIrst they had problems claiming to be FDIC insured, and in fact, it’s “pass through” which means it doesn’t exist like they’ve claimed all along.  I know MANY people who’ve had their money illegally stolen by pay pal, and I know many people who’ve been blackmailed or extorted, in my opinion, by them.   As pay pal account locked, if I do nothing further, my account is gone, as is my hard earned money.  If I don’t submit to their demands, I loose all of my money.  Pay pal account locked is NOT a pleasant experience, and they do nothing to make it better, and in fact aggrivate the situation.  STAY clear of Pay Pal as a payment processor.  There are PLENTLY of alternatives.  2Checkout, Merit Card in Dallas, and I’ll post more as I open a few new accounts due to my pay pal account locked.  Pay Pal account locked or frozen – do you have any experience with being extorted by Paypal or blackmailed by them to get your money?  Let us know below about pay pal account locked.
