Do you have any search engine marketing, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, or online marketing in general questions?

Do you have any questions about affiliate programs, how to further monitize your website?

Did you know that there are at least 3 ways that you can further monitize your website that won’t impact your current business or serivces, detract from them in any way, and can be implemented in under 30 minutes?

What questions have been lingering in your mind, and you just haven’t gotten around to asking them, or haven’t had someone to ask, or the time to do it?

Well, now is your PERFECT chance. If I get enough responces, I’m going to host an open webinar and will take any and all questions, and also discuss ways that you can monitize your existing business’ site without taking away from or detracting from your current goals. I was originally going to limit this opportunity to clients, but thought that others might have questions that would be of benefit to all, so it’s open to anyone.

Just post your questions below as a comment, or e-mail them to me, and if I get enough response, I’ll send out a webinar invite in the next day or two. If you can’t make the webinar, I will record it and you’ll be able to listen and/or watch it later.

I must get at least 5 responces in the next 24 hours in order to do this, and I will also be giving away a door prize to all attendees of the webinar, so you must be present on the live webinar to be eligible to win. I will also include people who post their questions as comments/responces on the blog as opposed to e-mailing them, so if you would like to be eligible, leave a comment here with your question or any ideas you have. The door prize to be given away in the drawing has a $597 value, so get those brains thinking, and let me know what I can help you with.

It’s my goal to be of the best service to my clients and friends, and well informed clients and friends generally will do better, and benefit more from their sites.

Thanks much, and I look forward to hearing from you…

Mike

Exponentially increase your efforts from each wordpress post with just one VERY quick modification.

Do you use Wordpress? WordPress is one of the most search engine friendly, and with just a few tweeks, can be a powerhouse in getting you some off the chain results in the search engines.

For example, did you know that when you create a wordpress post and then publish it, wordpress automatically “pings” your blog post, notifying quite a few other sites that it’s there, so that it will be visited quickly, and that others will know that it’s there?

This can cause it to show up in the search engines rather quickly, or at least be indexed by the, and they can be made aware of your new post and content.

Out of the box, WordPress notifies pingomatic, one of the largest pinging sites ( www.pingomatic.com) and this lets MANY people/sites/engines/etc know that you’ve got new content that needs to be reviewed/crawled/indexed, etc.?

In order to check who your wordpress installation is notifying, it’s really rather easy to check this.

If you log into your wordpress management area, which is typically www.site.com/blog/wp-admin or if you’ve installed wordpress to the root of your site, you can go to: www.yoursite.com/wp-admin and log in.

Once you’ve managed to log in, on the left side of the page, there is a section that says “Settings.” Click on this, and then below that, a section that says “Writing.”

Scroll down to the bottom of the section that says “Writing” and find where it says “Update Services.” Directly under Update Services it should say something like this:

When you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies the following site update services. For more about this, see Update Services on the Codex. Separate multiple service URLs with line breaks.

Well, in that section, I just saw the url for pingomatic, by default. Well, if you’d like to kick up your traffic and exposure exponentially, you can enter in MANY diffferent sites here. At the very bottom of this is a list which you can simply copy and paste into there, and then click Save Changes. Then, when you create a new post, it will not only notify Pingomatic, it will notify the entire list below, and you will have quite a few other spiders coming to crawl and take a look at your post, and you can have it indexed and viewed by a considerable number of people.

If you are technically challenged, or just don’t want to deal with this yourself, my team would be more than happy to take care of this for you.

Click here now to turbo charge your blog setup and get MUCH more exposure for your blog posts, get them crawled instantly, and seriously turbo charge your online efforts:

http://bit.ly/9yBAn8

Due to demand, we can only accomodate a certain number of folks per day, so go ahead and get setup now: http://bit.ly/9yBAn8

When you have completed that, forward your receipt that you get to mike(dot)richey(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject line WordPress Ping Setup, and we’ll get it taken care for you RIGHT AWAY. I’ll also see your e-mail come in and contact you if I dont’ hear from you to get your details, and begin work to get your process optimized and have you on the way to getting MUCH better results and wildly driving up your traffic in a very fast way.

We’ll need to know your Wordpess admin URL and access information. We can also walk you through it via GoToMeeting if you would be more comfortable with that.

With the amount of increased traffic, exposure, and indexing you could potentially receive from this, it’s quite a bargain, and could easily pay for itself literally in a matter of days with your increased exposure and increased possible indexing.

If you are a do-it-your-selfer, below is a list of servers that you can enter into this.

Thanks much, keep plugging away, and make it happen.

You are only a few moves and few plans away from where you want to be.

Search Engine Marketing – SEO vs. PPC. Which is better? Which gets better results? I’ve heard that PPC is very expensive and there’s a lot of click fraud, and that it’s very difficult…

These are just a few of the things I’ve heard from friends and clients regarding search engine optimization, pay per click and marketing online. With internet marketing, search engine optimization, and pay per click, there really is no “one size fits all” solution… Each case has to be looked at individually, and then monitored for results, and tuned and it’s ongoing efforts re-evaluated, etc.

These are also just a few of the topics I’m going to be covering this evening at the US-75 Business Professionals Learning and Networking Group. If you can make it, we’d love to have you, and I’ll be covering these and a wide variety of other topics, and would be happy to answer your specific questions and address any issues you might be having and help you get a grasp on what your options are, how they will benefit you, and what you can expect with diffferent kinds of marketing campaigns, etc.

Yesterday, Google announced it’s new search index, Caffeine. What is Google Caffeine? How will Google Caffeine affect my SEO? The premise behind Google Caffeine is that they can offer you MUCH fresher results, and that pages can be indexed at a MUCH faster rate that they’d previously been able to. Google surmizes that people want to receive much more relevant content faster, and with the advent and exponentially increasing popularity of video, articles, blogs, and other various rich media content and information publication platforms, Google says that Caffeine can and will deliver. How will it affect our SEO? Remains to be seen. From what it says, it will be possible for pages to get indexed and actually show up in the search results MUCH faster than before, but it could also create a demand for pages that refresh much more frequently, or content that is updated much more quickly, thus more labor intensive and increased effort and or costs associated with SEO. Of course, as always, automation kicks in and enables these things to be taken into consideration and rolled out without manual intervention after being setup, but we’ll see. According to Google “Caffeine lets us index web pages on an enormous scale. In fact, every second Caffeine processes hundreds of thousands of pages in parallel. If this were a pile of paper it would grow three miles taller every second. Caffeine takes up nearly 100 million gigabytes of storage in one database and adds new information at a rate of hundreds of thousands of gigabytes per day. You would need 625,000 of the largest iPods to store that much information; if these were stacked end-to-end they would go for more than 40 miles.” That surely WOULD require a healthy dose of caffeine to manage that, and for many, to even begin to understand it. As for search results and how it will affect SEO if at all, it’s only a day or so old, and the jury is out for sure still on Google Caffeine. Read more about it here on Google’s official blog http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/06/our-new-search-index-caffeine.html

Content Network – something that most PPC people, or any people for that matter, aren’t familiar with. Up to 90% of people online DON’T use Google, but simply go to regular websites or their favorite websites and communities. Now, imagine, your pay per click campaign, you get betweeen 5 to 100% more traffic for 60 to 80% less than what you pay now. Even imaging the possiblitiy of BEING LISTED on your competitors site, and actually “stealing traffic” from them. This can all be possible with the content network side of Google pay per click can do for you. If you are in a niche that doen’t have high search counts in the first place, the content network training would be perfect for you. Niches where people aren’t necessisarily searching for what you have to offer, but if they heard of it, they would be interested in your offer, service, or product. Content training and the content network are some of the best guarded secrets by those in the know about online marketing and PPC. Perry Marshall has interviewed Shelley Ellis and interviews her for his high end coaching groups and Nitro Marketing has recently developed the first of it’s kind – Content Network training programt content network PPC . Right now, they are taking in a limited number of canidates for their training, it’s maxed out at 250 people. I’ve signed up for the class myself and have met Shelley on a few occasions, and I HIGHLLY recommend getting this training while it’s open. There are a limited number of spots, and for the cost, which seems like a joke compared to what you are about to save, and the exponential growth in your traffic and income from what you learn, this is basically a no-brainer. If you are intersted in traffic at all, and interested in getting into PPC, but up until now have been intimidated by the horror stories of people loosing lots of money, or not making their returns and getting good results, this is especially for you.

Google Subscribed Links – Are you getting in front of your customers as much as possible?

Did you know that it’s possible to show up as the 4th search result for ANY of your customers searches on Google when your pages have content related to that search? Regardless of where your pages are ranked and what terms they are searching on? If you have content related to their search, you will be on the first page, right in front of them.

According to Google “Subscribed Links offer a way for you to add information from additional sources or services to your Google search results. When you search using queries that match your Subscribed Link, information from the provider will appear in your search results.”

For complete information, visit: http://www.google.com/coop/docs/subscribedlinks/faq.html

At the bottom of that page, Google walks you through the process of setting up a subscribed link. Basically, you provide the location of a URL/RSS feed, and then Google crawls the information on your site.

You can then create a button, e-mail your list, etc. and your subscribers or customers, with a Google account, can click on it and subscribe. Then, when they search for anything that has content related to what you provide, your listing will show up as the 4th search result.

This is perfect for blogs, as you can easily provide the RSS feed URL of your blog.

Also, when you create a subscribed link, you are provided an entry into Google’s Subscribed Links Directory, which you can find here:

http://www.google.com/coop/subscribedlinks/directory

Not only can you easily and quickly provide your current subscribers and customers with an easy way to access your information, you can find new customers and clients via the searchable subscribed links directory.

Something you should look into right away, and can provide dozens and dozens of possibilities and new avenues for you in internet marketing and otherwise, create repeat business, and stay in front of your customers.
