Do you have any search engine marketing, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, or online marketing in general questions?

Do you have any questions about affiliate programs, how to further monitize your website?

Did you know that there are at least 3 ways that you can further monitize your website that won’t impact your current business or serivces, detract from them in any way, and can be implemented in under 30 minutes?

What questions have been lingering in your mind, and you just haven’t gotten around to asking them, or haven’t had someone to ask, or the time to do it?

Well, now is your PERFECT chance. If I get enough responces, I’m going to host an open webinar and will take any and all questions, and also discuss ways that you can monitize your existing business’ site without taking away from or detracting from your current goals. I was originally going to limit this opportunity to clients, but thought that others might have questions that would be of benefit to all, so it’s open to anyone.

Just post your questions below as a comment, or e-mail them to me, and if I get enough response, I’ll send out a webinar invite in the next day or two. If you can’t make the webinar, I will record it and you’ll be able to listen and/or watch it later.

I must get at least 5 responces in the next 24 hours in order to do this, and I will also be giving away a door prize to all attendees of the webinar, so you must be present on the live webinar to be eligible to win. I will also include people who post their questions as comments/responces on the blog as opposed to e-mailing them, so if you would like to be eligible, leave a comment here with your question or any ideas you have. The door prize to be given away in the drawing has a $597 value, so get those brains thinking, and let me know what I can help you with.

It’s my goal to be of the best service to my clients and friends, and well informed clients and friends generally will do better, and benefit more from their sites.

Thanks much, and I look forward to hearing from you…

How to buy Enounce MySpeed. First off, if you watch instructional videos online, or any videos for that matter, Enounce MySpeed is a product you should definately look into. It allows you to adjust the playback rate of the videos, from half speed to 5 times normal speed. This is an enormous time saver I picked up from Jeff and Kevin Wilke at Nitro Marketing. Videos that would normally take me hours to watch, I can watch in about twenty minutes. There are three different versions, a trial verssion, which is then $29.95 after the trial version, and then a premier version which is $99.95. I signed up for the trial, and when it expired, I didn’t quite have enough to puchase either version. I continued to receive e-mails from them for about a week or two, and then all of a sudden, I received a 50% off coupon in my e-mail, at which point I purchased the premier version. It has much more functionality than the $29.95 version and I very highly recommend it for anyone who watches training videos or otherwise online. I watch quite a few internet marketing and search engine optimization training videos online, and again, Enounce MySpeed has saved me HOURS and HOURS of time.

COOLBUBBA10 is a coupon code for Enounce that will get you 20% off of your Enounce purchase. So, use the Enounce coupon code COOLBUBBA10 to get 20% off. Enjoy!!!

Can clicking on your search engine rankings in Google hurt your ranking? In a word, yes… Especially if you have a Google account and stay logged in.

I had a client who I was speaking with earlier today. I ran a report for him, and it showed that he was ranked on the first page of all of the search engines for all of his keyword terms, but when I went and serched on the term, he was half way down the second page. He kept calling as well asking when he was going to be on the first page, seeing something similar to what I was seeing.

Google tracks clicks from it’s SERP’s (search engine results pages or the pages that are displayed when you type in a search term and hit enter).

So for example, if you search for “football helmet” and then click on the first result, and then click the back button, then click on another listing, Google could assume that the listing or page wasn’t relevant or wasn’t what you were looking for.

This is especially so if you have a Google account and are logged in. They can and do customize searches specifically for you based upon your past search activity and clicks. If you have a Google account, and there is a search you’ve done repeatedly in the past, you might notice dates to the right of the search listings (indicating the last date you visited this page).

In our case, we’d clicked on my clients page, and then clicked the back button to check competitors as well. This might not have been a good thing.

Overall, he’s still on the first page for his top keywords across the search engines and moving up, BUT, if enough people click on his result when they search for his keyword term, and then click the back button to view the other pages, there is the possibility that it could hurt his ranking overall, and even cause his position to drop.

I tend to be on the paranoid side a bit as far as working on sites and SEO goes, this is just based upon an observation earlier today, and not 100% fact, written in stone.

However, I’d avoid clicking on your search listing and then clicking the back button all of the time. If you are going to search your keyword terms and then click to your site, don’t hit the back button…
